Nude Lipsticks for different skin tones?

Hi Gals!
Nude lips seem to be a thing that all gals sport regularly but it's surprisingly hard to get hold of nude shades D=
Me being pale skin I seem to find that shades lebelled 'nude' are actually pretty dark in comparrison to my skin.
From your own experiences, can any of you Gals reccommend brands and names of lipstick that match particular skin tones?

well before i found a lipstick for my complexion, i just mixed my foundation with a liquid lipgloss to achieve a nude lip. not complete answer but can be a good substitute until to find a lipstick that works

I have always been told to put foundation over your lips and add the appropriate gloss.
